  4. Hi Prayer Warriors! This is a request shared by Amber:
Here is an update from Giulia Medici Jackson off of Amelia's Care Page Website:
Amelia became sick with what we assumed to be the flu on August 28, 2009. After three days of vomiting, she was taken to the ER where she was given IV fluids and released. The vomiting continued and 24 hours later she was back in the ER and admitted to the hospital for a 4 day stay. She was released, but has not been able to keep down food/fluids for more than 48 hours since her symptoms started. She was again admitted on 9/22 and was released 9/26 only to begin vomiting three hours after being released.
She was admitted to Mercy again on 9/28 and is scheduled to be transferred to the University Of Iowa Hospital on 9/29. She is on continuous IV fluids and has lost over 25 lbs in the last 4 weeks.
To date, all tests, scans and blood work have come back normal. We are praying they are able to find some answers in Iowa City.
Giulia and her family are taking turns driving back and forth to Iowa City to be with Amelia so that she always has someone with her 24/7. As much of an emotional situation it is for the family, I can't imagine the financial strain.

  5. Please be praying for Abby. Abby is a 6 year old little girl who had a heart transplant a year ago. She is now hospitalized with massive pneumonia and on IV antibiotics. Pray for strength for her body, for her immune system and peace for her mom and dad. Also for protection for her new heart. By His stripes SHE is healed! (Isa. 53:5)
